This work was inspired by the 2020 news headlines. “Old News” was made in the middle of a pandemic and the BLM movement. During the year, the headlines were always negative and depressing. I created this work to represent what was going on in the world. An artwork to try to change the narrative of what we were all going through. This work is a statement to be better and make positive headlines in a world that feeds off the negative.
